Gambol Industries is a full service boat yard, ship builder & yacht repair facility.  We are one of the few yacht yards in Southern California capable of handling mega yachts for haul-out, retrofit and repair.  Founded in 1992, and located in Long Beach's inner harbor, Gambol began as a yacht manufacturer & now also specializes in marine repair & custom work on any size vessel. Our experienced crew, 100,000 square foot facility, 30-ton crane, 300 ton dry lift, and 400 feet of pier and dock space is capable of handling virtually any marine project--big or small.  Our commitment to quality, time/cost effectiveness, and professional project management assures that your boat, yacht or mega yacht will be handled with diligent care and your results will surpass your expectations.

I have to say, I disagree with the previous post. I've been boating for over 25 years and have worked in the industry almost that long. In that time, I've been in and out of 100 plus boat yards from Maine to Florida and Washington to Mexico. You'll be hard pressed to find a more capable and experienced crew. Personally speaking, it's best to let the boat yard do their job. Sure you can give detailed info about your vessel and work requests, but if you're going to micro manage a yard and question every billable item, you're better off doing the job yourself in a DIY yard. Gambol is top notch, they've done expert work for me.

I can't say enough about Gambol Industries in Long Beach, CA. Gambol is a full service boat yard and is among an elite few boat yards in Southern California that can handle EVERY minor or major boat repair, marine retrofit, and custom marine application. They can even custom build a yacht to your specifications. They completely made over my 30 foot sailboat from top to bottom: new fiberglass hull and gelcoat, new topside paint, woodwork, varnish, prop and shaft providing every detail along the way--on time and on budget. And they treated me like my 30 footer was a superyacht! They have my highest recommendation.
