Captain Hugenot is an experienced Naval Architect, Marine Surveyor and Super-Yacht operator who has served as master of Inspected Passenger Vessels up to 185 ft (56 meters), with 1000 passengers.

Capt. Hugenot has been surveying small craft from 26 to 300 feet for over 30 years and is familiar with the structural components of Aluminum, Steel, Fiberglass, Ferro-Cement and all marine woods and construction techniques of each material. He is a trained welder, machinist and diesel engine rebuilder as well as a wood shipwright. In 2004 he became an Accredited Marine Surveyor and was also a member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors from 2004 until 2010.
