When and if you find yourself near San Diego and in need of boating parts & supplies, be sure to pay a visit to Downwind Marine. Lots to find here but in a nut shell, their local knowledge, industry knowledge, and boating enthusiasm makes them a much better option than West Marine. While West caters to Marine Lifestyle and clothing these days, Downwind carries legit parts and supplies for your boat. If they don't have it, they'll source it and ship it anywhere. If it needs to be built or fixed, they know all the local marine service providers and will get you squared away.
